The shade of alexandrite can vary in each stone, but this particular pair of studs feature a light grey/purple hued crystal which is set into a pair of gold plated sterling silver studs. The CZ crystal is 4mm and is cast into a rub over setting, which means there are no claws holding the stone in place, instead they are surrounded by a halo of silver which makes them appear larger.
